All participants must be sure to obey each and every rule, or else she will be disqualified from the competition -- so make sure to read everything over carefully before submitting your work!

• Frankendolling - Under no cicumstance should any doll use any part of another artist's work, beyond the base. This means do not copy and paste and edit, do not copy someone else's artistic design, and do not trace any work of art to make your own creation. Also, be sure not to use any forbidden bases, such as Candybar or any others.


• File Format - Please submit only .gif images, not .bmp, .jpg/.jpeg, or .png. No larger than 400x400. Also be sure that your image is transparent and cropped down around the doll.


• Base - There is no restriction on base usage; however, you will be using the same base throughout the entire competition, so we suggest that you use something large enough to stand out, and something with a decent number of poses. Small bases will most likely be looked over during voting, and also won't contain the necessary amount of detail.


• Your Character - For this competition, we will be allowing both male and female dolls, no restriction on the gender of your character -- this is outer space, who knows what the pageants will be like!
  
  We will not be allowing human entries, ie an unedited normal base. You will need to come up with some way in which your character is from space. We will be accepting Aliens, Robots and Cyborgs, as well as Mutants and other beings with non-human features or differences, so be creative. Change skin color, add arms, adjust facial features, go wild!
  
  Your doll must come from a star from the list located on the entrants page; to reserve a star, please send an e-mail to intergalacticstar@gmail.com.
  
  
• Number of Entries - Each person is welcome to have two characters entered into the competition -- but they must be of different types! You're welcome to one pixeled and one tooled entry, no more than one of each.
  
  
• Awards and Prizes - Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third overall, as well as first to third on a round-by-round basis, and one 'Miss or Mister Congeniality' award to the most creative and interesting character.
  
  The prizes will be your choice between an illustration of your character by Hana, a tooled doll of your character by Pyrochan, and a pixeled doll of your character by blue. First place will get first choice, second will get second choice, and third place will get whichever of the three is left.
