WELCOME TO INTERGALACTIC STAR
From across the universe, aliens of all shapes and sizes gather and compete against each other to discover who will be the Intergalactic Star. Could it be you?
Yet another pageant -- but this one asks you to think creatively and imagine up some characters that are much different from the standard. Tentacles, cybernetic arms, purple skin, extra arms and legs...who knows what might appear in other galaxies? It's up to you to discover! Pick a star from the entrants page, reserve, and get to creating!
There will be five rounds to this pageant, and no eliminations. At the end of each round, contestants will be judged on a series of elements:
- Execution of Theme - Does your doll fulfill the critera of the theme?
- Creativity - How interesting and original is your design?
- Technical Skill - How well-made is your doll, how skilled is the creation?
- Colors/Continuity/Detailing - Does everything come together to look complete?

Thus far, we have only received THREE ENTRIES. If we don't receive more in the very near future, the deadline will have to be pushed back and I will have to send out some very naggy e-mails. XD So get those out!

Castor
The biggest annual event on Vinor is the king's birthday. Obviously the day for this varies with the king, right now it is on the fourth day of the fifth month, Drisae. The celebrations last for three days, the birthday itself being the last day. During the first two days, the castri celebrate Castor and the planets. Dressed in peachy pink and orange tones, to match the dawnlike light always bathing their planet, they take part in numerous rituals on the first day. On the second day they gather to watch a chosen group of castri perform a wind show, involving the brewing of great storms and performing stunts in the air. On the third day, the king's birthday is celebrated. The king speaks from the royal palace, and typically receives much praise. Then he comes out to party with the people, give and recieve blessings, and simply have a good time. The whole event ends in a great feast with seasonal foods, generally lots of fruits harvested in the core of the planet.
